Biography and Publications
April 21, 1955: Born Memmingen, Germany, parents Kurt and Marianne Möser. 1961 - 1965: Primary school in Memmingen. 1965 - 1974: Secondary school (Bernhard- Strigel- Gymnasium) in Memmingen. 1974: Abitur. 1974 - 1979: Reading History and German Literature at the University of Konstanz. 1979: Master´s degree. 1982 -1984: Lecturer at the Institut für Deutsche Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft, University of Erlangen. Dec 1982: Doctorate (Dr. phil.). 1984 - 1986: Lecturer (DAAD- Lektor) at the colleges Christ Church, Oriel, Jesus, Somerville and Lady Margret Hall of the University of Oxford. 1987: "Wissenschaftlicher Volontär" at the Landesmuseum für Technik und Arbeit in Mannheim. From 1988: Curator at the Landesmuseum für Technik und Arbeit for road, water and air transport, technology and culture. 1991- 1993: Lecturer (DAAD- Lektor) at the Centre of German Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. 2005-2008: Institute of History, University Karlsruhe (TH). 2008: Habilitation: History of technology. Part time lectureships at the Faculty of History, University Mannheim; Faculty of History, University of St Gallen; Fachhochschule Mannheim. Married, three boys, one daughter.
