Submission and Author Guidelines
Articles submitted to the Journal of New Frontiers in Spatial Concepts: Sociohistorical, Sociotechnical and Transcultural Analysis should be original work or reviews that are not under review with other journals. Articles can be considered for publication in the Journal of new frontiers in spatial concepts given the authors own the copyright to the work being submitted or are authorized by the copyright owner.
Notes on formatting
You should write in clear and concise English or German. This Journal follows an interdisciplinary approach, therefore we would like you to write your articles and comments in English. We also accept articles in German, in that case please send us abstract and keywords in English.
Arrangement of papers
Before submitting your article, we recommend to arrange your text with our stylesheet. Then send us your paper in WORD so that the editors can leave their comments on the paper. The final layout will be determined by the journal staff. Please consider the The Chicago Manual of Style for citations in your text. Click here for some formatting guidelines written in German.
In addition to your article, we need some further information and contact details. Please do not submit a paper without these details. The journal administrators will remove personal details for the purposes of
- email addresses
- a short biography for each author
- if you’d like: a picture of yourself
Please fill out our Submit Form for a New Article. Your manuscript will then be made anonymous for the peer reviewing process and forwarded to the department editor who is most likely to be knowledgeable in your area of expertise. We guarentee a review and fast publication with maximum of 8 weeks.
The journal is subsidised by KIT Library and KIT Institut für Philosophie. Authors therefore do not have to pay article processing or submission charges.
